I am running windows 98 on my home machine and cannot find "Direct Cable connection" instructions.

Have been to Start/ programmes/ accessories /communications. Seems like i do not have this option on my machine.

Can this be downloaded from Microsoft ?- I cannot find it anywhere>

Good luck in using DCC. I know little about it, but as an alternative I do know that the best way to connect two PCs like that wouls be to use two cheap NICs and a crossover network cable. Then it would be a "proper" network.

i have just seen this on the site refered to me by BEAR. i have windows 98, maybe it is not 2nd edition?
