    Cannot Bridge Connections

    Hello Again,

When I try to connect my 2nd Lan cable (from the computer to the router) My mouse freezes up and my computer acts awfully slow.

Other times I get a blue screen DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

    Any ideas?

Is this a new problem? Did it ever work?

    Does the 1st computer work?

Do you have the proper cable?

The title is a bit wrong,

I've been playing around and what it has come to is:

When I plug a lan cable in "Connection 1" On the Striker Extreme Motherboard the computer freezes.

When I plug it in "Connection 2" its fine. And I get internet.

This happens with all my cables I've tried.

The same cable? In 1 no. In 2 yes?

What are you trying to do?

Although some motherboards have multiple RJ45 (Ethernet) jacks when you throw in a router you add another layer of complexity.

Can you describe what it is you are trying to set up?

    Computer(s) + Router + ... = etc.

From what I hear correct me if I'm wrong.

    Quoting from NVIDIA Control Panel

NVIDIA Teaming Technology allows you to combine two or more network adapters. With Teaming you can increase your bandwith or have a backup if one of the adapters stops fuctioning.
But what I'm saying is that Connection 1 doesn't even work, The little light flickers etc but it doesn't show or give me internet. And usally takes me to a blue screen.

Hmm, not sure why but it stops just freezing my computer when its connected. Just left my computer off for a while.

Can you post a link to the NVIDIA quote? I am not sure I understand what they are suggesting.

The second port would be basically for networking another computer without the need of a router.

My networking skills are not that great but perhaps with the NVIDIA link I could see more clearly.

Also perhaps someone else might have a better idea.

It was on the Nvidia control panel, I got it all working now, just fiddled around with the options.
