Yeah, my ISP does not provide router support, although if i get a good service rep they will help anyway. I'll follow through those steps tomorow, my time.

I found that site on Google trying to set up my first home network.

I bought the router and connected it to the ISP (BellSouth/AT&T) modem and I could not get an IP via the router.

I called the ISP and they took me through all the basics etc.

It is very similar to here where we have no idea where someone is coming from.

The BellSouth guy was telling me about IPCONFIG so I say yeah I know that etc.

Also not to confuse the native Indian accents.

Anyway = afterwards I found that DSL web site and it specifically told me how to set my BellSouth modem to be a bridge to the Linksys router.

In two minutes it was done and working.

Meanwhile in New Delhi who knows what was happening.
