Ive been having trouble sorting out my internet wirelessly with BT. My Dad installed the BT modem on his laptop so it worked wirelessly and everythingw as good. Since then, we've introduced the Linksys Gateway and ive done all the system settings as i remember they should be, but its making us sign in to BT Internet via their browser, this means that when a wirelessly networked computer turns on, its connected to the wireless but the internet is signed out.

In order to get it to work, I have to turn on the laptop, sign in using their browser and then it works until i turn the wireless laptop with non BT stuff off, then i have to do the whole thing again. This is really beginning to grate,as you can imagine.

I used the same router in 2005 to provide wireless access to the internet on another BT connection and i never had this problem then.

I've told the router to keep the DSL connection alive, and given it the right password and everything, but it still refuses to work properly.

Any ideas?
