    Fire-wall settings

    Hai !

As suggested by u, I've started using COMODO firewall. Iam unable to understand the messages displayed in the dialog box regarding the settings. Under SECURITY CONSIDERATION: the messages like this are dispalyed.

    App:ieexplore.exe
    Remote:
    Ip:127.0.0/1
    Port: 12080-TCP

C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe has tried to use iexplorer.exe through OLE Automation, which can be used to hijack other applications. explorer.exe might be using iexplore.exe to connect to the internet.

I can understand nothing from such messages, which makes it difficult for me to decide to- Allow or Deny.

Please help me in this regard.

    Thank You !

Generally, if a message comes up through your use, it's fine. Like clicking on a link. Explorer is (basically) the core of windows. Clicking a link will trigger IE. IE wants to connect to the net, so you get the safety warning. I've just told Comodo that it's allowed, and to remember my answer. Mail programs will do the same thing. Clicking a link in a mail message will give the same type "warning"; "OUTLOOK has tried to use iexplorer.exe through OLE Automation, which can be used to hijack other applications. OUTLOOK might be using iexplore.exe to connect to the internet."
