    Hi Jignesh,

I think what Jephree was trying to say was that, WHEN YOU TYPE IN CAPITALS, it sounds like you're shouting and we get irritated when we read forum messages that are written like SMS text messages that we have to decode .

From my experience, I would say that there could be a number of reasons why some of your PCs do not appear in My Network Places. I would suggest checking the following:

    1. If the PCs have just been joined to the network, it may take some time (e.g. up to an hour) before those PCs appear in My Network Places.

    2. Are the PCs on the same IP address range as the server, e.g. 192.168.0.x ?

    3. Are the PCs on the same domain as the server? They might have working communication to the Internet, etc. through the network simply because they have an appropriate IP address. However, they won't be able to communicate fully around the network if they are not joined to the domain.

    4. Do the problem PCs have different firewall software? Or is the firewall software configured differently on those PCs? This is the most common cause of issues like this - you may need to add the LAN IP range to the 'Trusted Sites' or 'Trusted Networks' section of the firewall software.

    5. Are the PCs registered in DNS Server correctly? Try pinging the problem PCs from the server, first by IP address and then by name. To do this, go to a Command Prompt window on the server and type ping ComputerIP and press Enter. If that gives 4 valid responses, try ping ComputerName and see if that responds correctly as well.

Let us know the results of each of the above points
