    Network Printing

At my work there are about 19 PC’s all connected to one large networked printer. For the most part things print rather well. Problems always seem to arise whenever anyone tries to print a large pdf. When the pdf is around 1M or larger it either stalls, never, prints and comes up with an error OR if it does print it takes 1000 years and prints one page at a time with large pauses in-between each page.

Any idea of what is happening here?

Any suggestions for an easy fix?

    Thanks,
    LibroBrother

PS - I am not primary tech support for my work (a non-profit library) but I am more or less a liaisons between tech and rank and file.

look at the processes you have got running to see if any of the following are there

    pmpro32.exe, pm32.exe, rvpmpro32.exe, rvpm32.exe

I do not see any of those. I used the Task Manager to see what processes were up an running. Should I wait until we have a large pdf to print to see those or will those processes show up all the time?

    Thanks,

if the printer is switched on and connected to the comps they should show up if the problem is what i think it is
