    Question Block Websites

Anyone have any ideas for freeware website blockers that have the feature of directing the blocked website to a locally stored page?

    Scenario:
    -Block http://www.example.com
    -Attempt Access http://www.example.com
-Access Fail display message (Redirect C:\example.html)

    Ideas please?

There are plenty of options out there.
If you use Firefox, Adblock extension will do it for you.
In general, you can use host file: http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm
Another option would be Privoxy: http://www.privoxy.org/
Just Google for "web page blocker", and you'll find plenty...
