Hi I want to use my printer connected to my main computer. I have tried using the XP tutoriel but when it comes to asking for printer names,server etc I get stuck, I give the name of the printer with a reply that it is spelt wrong or not known. I'm at a loss.

I would like to use my printer from my laptop. When I try to connect via the windows help programme and it asks for printers name/computer name/server

have you set the printer to share in the printers properties?

do you ask the laptop to search for printers on the network?

Thank you for your reply. I have searched on the laptop and at last
it has responded and found the printer. I have now got rhe printer
working ok. this after I had purchased a new KODAK printer.
