    Transfering files

I have a laptop and a desktop at the same computer desk and I can plug a line from each PC to the router. My question is how can I share files between these 2 computers fast because I want to back up very large files on the desktop.

I could not get this working for some reason. Is there any software to make this easier or software that does the same thing?

I know of nothing simpler than that wizard.

It needs to be run on both computers.

What problems are you having with it?

Well when I did it on both PCs it didn't show anything then I tried other options and it only showed itself on the network. I have no clue what I did wrong.

Save 20% on AVG Internet Security 2012 Suite!
Try disconnecting your Internet connection from the router. Then disable the firewall on the desktop and the laptop. Can they see each other in My Network Places now? If so, you need to add the IP address range to the trusted sites or trusted networks area in your firewall application.

Let us know if that helps
