How to change dns primary and secondary numbers
Hi,can anyone advise me how to change the above,i have just purchased a new wireless router modem and my isp gave me these numbers but i haven't a clue how to do it.
Can anyone help with this?

Hi Albar,
The instructions depend on which operating system you are running. As most people are on Windows XP these days, I'll assume that this is what you have.
Go to Start Menu > Control Panel > Network and Internet Connections > Network Connections.
Right-click on 'Local Area Connection' (or the relevant wireless network connection if you are connecting wirelessly). Select Properties from the context menu.
Scroll down to 'Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)' and double-click it.
Select 'Use the following DNS server addresses'. The "preferred" address is the primary IP and the "alternate" address is the secondary IP.
