    wireless without router?

    I have the following setup. Desktop pc hooked to internet via linksys router and 2 toshiba laptops. Desktop and m45 toshiba use xp, vista is on the A135.

    Everything works fine, "ie internet, filesharing, printer and Remote desktop."

    My question is, is it possible for the two toshiba latops to communicate wirelessly without the router. TIA

    if the laptops support Peer 2 Peer mode also called something else but i cant remeber what, sorry....
