I don't know why but I can't log into my email or most other websites that require me to log in. I'm not sure if it is a firewall or something else. It happens every time I do a virus scan.

by log in you mean automatic log in?
The problem might be that your anti virus program also scans for adware etc. and that it deletes your cookies.
What antivirus program do you have?
