i have one problem in my network.i have 5 systems in my network{xp professional} with workgroup model. when i try to access another system on my network i am getting workgroup is not accessable you might have no permission to access this resources.i shared all drivers.pinging is ok in all sytems

file sharing has to be enabled on all computers. All computer must have exact similar work group name. You should have used the network wizard to create the work group. If one computer can access some of the others, but some of the others can not access that computer, then it is admin problem. You may want to start frest by creating a brand new work group on all computers, using network wizard.

The Network Wizard is a way of automating the settings for the workgroup, file sharing and Windows firewall settings. The same results can be achieved by setting it up manually though.
I find that this type of problem is often caused by third-party firewall software. If you have a third-party firewall (possibly bundled in a software suite like Norton Internet Security), ensure that the local network address range (e.g. 192.168.0.x) is in the trusted addresses list / zone for the firewall.
