I was trying to mate a Westell DSL modem to a Linksys router with no success.

After an hour with Technical Support from Bellsouth/ATT I was told the old: "It's not our problem but Linksys'".

From searching beforehand I knew that the modem had to be set to be a "Bridge" in order for the Router to take over the PPPoP function.

American Telephone and Telegraph via New Deli had no clue.

Anyway just a little more Googling brought me the easy solution:
