Cannot Obtain network address
okk.....ive been having this problem for days now and i cant seem to figure it out...im at a best western hotel and i have an hp Pavilion dv9000 witch my sister 2 doors down has the exact same computer and the same setup...i have been connected before just fine and i have 4 bars and anywhere from excellent to very good connection..but it will not give me an ip address ive been surfing forums all over the internet on this topic and nothing i have read has helped me i cannot get the settings from the router and all that other stuff because im at a hotel and im not amazing with computers/networking especially so if anyone can plllleaasee help me figure this out that would rock..my head is about to explode here is some of my settings

P.s. Ive tried winsocket i even uninstalled my pc cillin and turned off all my firewalls.

You really need to speak with the hotel staff to check that you are connecting to the correct wireless network. It sounds like DHCP (the service that allocates IP addresses) isn't working properly on the wireless network that you have connected to. Your laptop is using an IP address of 169.254.41.134 but you didn't get this from the hotel - this is an example of a default local address that Windows will give itself when it can't get one from the network. This IP address will give you no access to the network at all. You are also missing a Default Gateway for the same reasons.
