peer to peer
went ahead and purchased Floor software. I'm down here at the shop researching on how to network our two computers here at the store. Basically I have one workstation computer out front and one in the office. Floor said not to use wireless, and use peer to peer . can you tell me what i would need and how to do it . Thanks .

If the PCs are both running Windows XP, then the Network Setup Wizard can help you to set up the connection relatively easily. You'll need a network cable to connect the two PCs using the network cards in each PC. If they don't have a network card (or an on-board network port), then you'll need to fit one. When you choose the network cable, be sure to buy one long enough that it will go between the PCs around doorways, skirting boards, etc - that's a lot more than the straight-line distance between the two! Also be sure to buy a CROSSOVER network cable, which is not just a standard "straight" CAT5e cable.
Hope that helps - let us know if you need further clarification.
