This is a dumb-dumb question....
My PC is due for an upgrade of antivirus software. Can i download free software from the net? or must i renew the Norton Antivirus?

on another note...

Once this has been done- my laptop also has run out of anti virus software. If i connect to the PC through Wireless, will i need to upgrad the anti virus software on my laptop? or will the PC software cover them both...?

use AVG it's free and a lot of people use it.

download it to the laptop as well I use it on 3 PC's and 1 laptop here no problem.

realy you need an anti virus on all the machines to make sure you're safe
