    Linksys Router Problems.

    I have a Wireless Linksys Router with a 4 port lan. Let me give you the status right now.

    I have 1 computer eterneted in. I have 3 other laptops that are wireless. All 3 laptops work great. No problems. The wireless router is a 802.11b router. And all the laptop adaports are 802.11b. Now I have a laptop with a 802.11g wireless adaport pci card. B and G are compadable. When I run the linksys program and It set's up the network. It says it connects to the network but doesn't connect to the interent net. I am able to connect to the internet though any one of the other laptops/computers. Any Suggestions. Thx in advance.

    on the homepage of the router LAN settings, wireless setting can you set it at mixed 11b & 11g

    Their's nothing on the homepage of my router for a mixed 11b & 11g Network.

    802.11g is backwards compatible with 802.11b, meaning that 802.11g access points will work with 802.11b wireless network adapters and vice versa.

    the one with the 802.11g

    when it's connected to the network can it see the other machines, can the other machines see it?

    do you have any setting on the homepage of the router
