Silly Wireless Router Question
This may seem silly, but the reason I'm asking this is that my desktop PC is in the shop and may be for some time.
My question is this: While my PC is in the shop, can I set up a wireless router for my new laptop without the PC being here?

Yes no problem, has your PC got a wireless card?
it will be easier to set it all up using cables most routers have LAN ports aswell once it's all up and running the you can set up the wireless.
Dont forget security on the wireless router to stop others from using your internet connection
