Exclamation Wireless Internet not sending packets

My wireless internet network is working fine as all the other computers on our home network are running the internet smoothly. However for some reason my computer is only recieving packets and not sending them. Is there anyway to fix this problem and get my internet working again? Any suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Chris

No, after turning off both a thrid party and windows firewall the problem still persists. I have tried pinging myself and other website and packets are sent and recieved no problem. However when I click on the network connection in windows it says no packets sent and none of my internet related applications are connecting. I believe the problem is somewhere between my connection and windows recognizing it correctly, but I could be wrong.

I am using a USB wireless adaptor. My computer in not the one attached to the main modem/roter. I just recently uninstalled norton anti-virus as the trial subscription was up and before I got a chance to install a new anti-virus system my connection got messed up.

One is a lab top with a built in wireless card and the other is a PC with another USB connection. (other than my pc and the one attached to the modem) My USB connection always worked in the pass and after I unistalled norton antivirus(trial version expired) and rebooted my computer is when my internet stopped working.

did you completley remove norton, it sometimes is awkward unless you've followed the proper process.

when you removed norton did you remove any drivers for the USB dongle

I used the norton uninstall wizard and choose the complete unistall option. I did not remove anything manually. The only way any drivers could have been removed is if it was part of the norton uninstall, which I doubt.

have you tried the USB dongle in another machine?

the other PC connected with USB is it a dongle or straight from the modem?

did you try using a ethernet cable?
