Hello, here's my wired setup: cable modem to belkin pre-n wireless router to desktop.
I can not use skype through the router, tried everything(opening ports, disabling firewall, enabled DMZ, etc), only will work by plugging modem directly into desktop. Since it's a bit of a pain to get under my desk and move the wires around every time I want to make a call, how would I go about setting something up to bypass the router when i wanted to make a call? Could I do this by using a switch? Thanks for your help Lynn
