Wireless problems
Hi, just got BT voyager wireless today, and seem to be having trouble connecting my laptop. Now I used it on two wireless connections in previous homes, so thats why it makes no sence. Bascially its saying I'm connected to the internet, but it won't actually let me on, and when i run the BT start up disc its saying it can't read the router. I've put the Wireless Network name in, but there doens't seem to be anywhere to place the Wireless Network Key in, which I can only assume to be the problem, where on earth do I type that in? Can anybody please help, it'd be much appreciated.

Have you tried setting up the communication between your BT Voyager wireless router and the laptop using an RJ45 ethernet cable first? I don't know if it's the case for your model but most wireless routers have one or more ethernet ports and the instructions normally recommend that you set up a cabled connection first to make sure that your laptop sees the router and the router sees the Internet, then do the more complicated wireless bit after you've seen that working.
If the BT install program says that it can't use the router, then it may have developed a fault and need replacing.
Incidentally, BT Broadband's local rate helpdesk number is 0845 600 7030.
Hope that helps
