Windows firewall won't stay on
About every 15 minutes my computer pops-up a message saying, "your computer may be at risk because the firewall is turned off". I then go to the windows XP security center and turn it back on, only to get the same message 15 minutes later. What do I have to do to make the firewall stay on? This started when I deleted Norton anti-virus (my subscription expired) and down loaded a free anti-virus program.

What did you download? What are you using now?
What version of Norton were you using? How did you remove it?
Something must be turning off the firewall.
