so i ran it on the other computer and theres 700 somthing entries how can i find the one im looking for and what am i looking for?

As a first step I would click Select all then Select all Green Items.

The Backup box should be checked by default.

If this doesn't help I would run it again and Select all (red and green) entries.

ok so lets forget aobut defult for a min. i got defult at the bottom of the newworks, so when i try to connect to the new one it runs and then it says it cant connect, something aobut limited or no connectivty. whtas up with this? i can connect to it and im further away than that computer.

well i ended up hooking the router up to my fathers computer through ethernet, this also is giving me a better signal, thats for all the help though

Thanks for the thanks but if you still want to get the wireless running I will move this to the Networking section where someone else might have a better idea.
