    Leak Tester

I've just bought the latest version of Open Office, along with the Oo Extra's CD, which included a feature called Leak Tester. When I ran it I got a message that my Black Ice firewall kept intruders out, but didn't stop information travelling from the other direction. In other words, my security has an outward leak.
Is this a genuine problem? I ask because the L/T message went on in some detail about Black Ice's shortcomings. In the end it more or less said go ahead and use Black Ice, but don't say we didn't warn you. Frankly, it sounded like a rant. I don't expect that Black Ice is perfect, but I do believe that it's done a very good job of protecting my computer.

    Are you referring to this?

    http://grc.com/lt/leaktest.htm

This is another page from the same source site (or so I think: not sure):

    https://www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2

    Here are other scans:

    Hope this helps.
