    Please Help! router/connection failure

    I have a belkin 802.11g/b router and built in wireless capabilities on my laptop, which is LAN-Express AS IEEE 802.11g miniPCI Adapter which used to work fine, i also have two other laptops which are connected to a network, these work fine and the connections are good so it is not the ISP which isn't working. This laptop it keeps disconnecting every five minutes and it wont let me connect manually, or won't reconnect automatically, like it used to do. The computer is new so it shouldn't be a problem with that. I think it could possibly be the settings but im not sure. I have switched off my computer many times and this does not help, i have tried almost everything! Please if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

    Are you saying that this is a new problem with an old setup that used to work OK?

    If so have you made any changes on the laptop in question? New hardware or software?

    What is the OS on the laptop? If XP have you tried a System Restore?

    Ive just managed to fix it! It took me all day, I just realised that my sister messed around with the type of data encryption and security, and removed the automatic network type from my computer's list so that was the problem. Thank you so much anyway!
