Wireless broadband for Mac and PC

I have a desktop Hewlett Packard computer which I currently connect to the internet using Wanadoo 1GB broadband in the UK.

I have also just purchased a Mac G4 Powerbook with OSX 10.4 for work and I would like to be able to connect that to our broadband wirelessly.

    Is this possible?

Can I just buy a router such as the NETGEAR 54MBPS WIRELESS ADSL ROUTER & 54MBPS USB ADAPTOR and connect that to my existing Wanadoo modem? Or is it more complicated than that?

    Here are some ideas:

A third possibility is a wireless network, based on Apple’s AirPort or another compatible wireless connection. There are wireless products available for both Macs and PCs that allow network communication, although you’ll probably need to add software to your setup that helps the platforms further understand each other.
