Hi

I'm having trouble sending and receiving emails, with the helpful assistance last night I was able to view the internet. I uninstalled Norton Antivirus 2004 and installed AVG. I still have Norton INternet security 2004.

The problem is that I can't send or receive emails on my Outlook Express 6. I have followed their instructions to the letter on setting up, but cannot get it to work. I also cannot login into my hotmail account, but can login into the msn messnger.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Whose instructions have you followed? Microsoft's?

If you still have Norton Internet Security 2004 installed and running, that includes Norton Anti-Virus as part of the package. Are you sure that you've uninstalled Norton Anti-Virus? Open Norton Internet Security from your Start Menu and see if you have Norton Anti-Spam switched on or other email-scanning options. It could be these settings that are stopping your mail transferring in and out correctly.
