should I create a registry backup?

I've got a process I've never seen before and didn't even recognize it I thought it was AVG, it's actually avc.exe ever heard of it I googled it and didn't get much.

I would suggest again that you post a HijackThis log. Torrents are a good word for torrents:

1. A turbulent, swift-flowing stream.
2. A heavy downpour; a deluge.
3. A heavy, uncontrolled outpouring: a torrent of insults; torrents of mail.

I need a program that will tell me what program is using each port or what ports are being used, I've got a lot of ips connected when I do netstat -an I'm not sure but I think that may be bad.
