JAHT adsl modem router config help needed!!!

Hello to all,a newbie here so apologies if this is a dumb question!

I have a spanking-new JAHT modem router,I have followed all the installation instructions etc,and cannot get any internet connection through it.The configuration menus are like the instructions to the Space Shuttle to a non-tech like me,can anyone point me gently in the right direction? The router is showing a steady LED for the adsl signal, and the TP1 is lit to show the computer on the network.I can only assume I have to input lots of settings to get the router to work?I get my internet through BT Broadband(not the basic package which,I'm told, cannot support networking),and when using my Voyager USB modem I have no internet troubles at all.

    Anyone?!?!

    Nice site,by the way.

    Speedy.

Have you accessed the configuration page of the router and configured the appropriate settings, i.e. the Username, the ADSL username given to you by your service provider and Password, the password for your ADSL account. You will access the configuration page by connecting your router to your computer with an Ethernet cable and then entering the default ip address of the router in a web browser. This will bring up the configuration page. If these settings are not correct you will go nowhere fast. Get back if you get stuck.
