    Unhappy Network Help!!!!!!!!!!!

    This is what i have:

    - Desktop PC with XP Pro and two ethernet pci adapters
    - Notebook PC (high end) with XP Pro and 1 ethernet port
    - Netgear 5 port ethernet switch
    - Motorola Cable Modem with 1 ethernet port
    - Lots of ethernet wires
    - Apache HTTP server installed on both PC's running on port 8081(desktop) & port 8082(laptop)

objective: I want to set up a home network so that both PC's can connect to the internet and be used as webservers on port 8081(for the desktop) and port 8082(for the notebook). Please help me with this problem, i just have some basic knowlegde of networks.

    ------------------

Right now i have this setup, it works but the site hosted from the laptop cannot be seen on the web, and i know the port is open because i checked on www.canyouseeme.org :

    1) Desktop connected directly to the modem on ethernet adapter #1
    2) An ethernet cable connecting Desktop ethernet adapter #2 to the switch
    3) A cable from the switch connecting to the laptop.
    4) I set up internet sharing on the desktop
    5) Laptop is connected under the ip address: 192.168.0.208
    6) When Apache server is started on the laptop it works correctly, but site cannot be viewed on the browser of aother computer,
    7) The port that apache runs on, on the laptop is 8082, and the port can be seen as open, on www.canyouseeme.org

Please draw it out if you wish to get a better idea of this setup, and I would like to know what went wrong, and how i can fix it, PLEASEEEEEE HELPP ME, I HOPE THERE IS A SOLUTION! THANK YOU.
