    networking and firewalls

    Hello and good morning

    I have two pcs connected via their network cards, one of which is connected to the internet.

    Do I need firewall software installed and running on each machine?

    it is advisable to have a firewall, as you using XP it has a firewall (not very good but better than nothing) there are loads of free firewalls around
