Hello,
I've got a laptop with a wireless card and have cable broadband. I'm not sure what products I need to go wireless. Do I just need a broadband router or do I need a wireless access point as well? I dont have any other devices to connect to the wireless network at present other than the laptop.

you'll need a wireless router, but your laptop should connect to your cable modem with the ethernet (RJ45) cable
