Static vs Dynamic DHCP

Static vs Dynamic DHCP
For my network, what is the diference between making my two networked PC's Static DHCP clients versus Dynamic IP clients?? Both PC's share the same internet service from the same ISP and therefore, the same IP address. So what difference will it make???? Thanks a lot!

Static or DHCP?
-One allows you complete control of what goes where-(printer ip, server ip, client ip range)
-The other allows you to make sweeping changes to the entire organization without hitting every desktop.
-The third option is a mixture of static-ip(printers and servers) and leave all the client computers DHCP.
Myself i could easily manage <40 devices under a static ip setup.
(it's not like you make ip changes every week/month)
But over >40 i would use DHCP.(for client computers at least)
Whatever you decide for your network, make sure you understand what the network REQUIRES and what the limitations are. If your changes effect more than (1) office network, perhaps playing it safe and just changing to a static "private" ip range may be good for now. That will give you time to plan a change to DHCP for next year(plenty of time for testing).
