Can't locate an internet connection when using router
I am trying to set up my router but it will not locate an internet connection,is there something I have to change in the control panel or another place on my computer,or maybe I must change something with my firewall.
I have a DSL connection and am using a belkin 802.118 router.
I even bought another router just to make sure and the same thing happens.
Thank You
Bell South DSL
Window's XP Professional
Belkin 802.118
P.S....On my computer I can not go on the internet when my router is connected,I have to disconnect the router.

Your router has to know where on the Internet it is supposed to be connecting. Have you configured the router with the external IP address, username and password to connect to your ISP? And have you configured your PC with the internal address of the router as the gateway in the PC's network connection properties?
Do you have status lights on the router to confirm that your router isn't connected to the Internet and that the problem isn't just that your PC can't get to (or through) the router?
