I have used a crossover cable to connect my laptop to my desktop pc. I have used the network wizard and am able to receive an internet connection on my laptop through the dektop, but I am unable to share files. I have tried View Workgroup computers but I get a message which says that the laptop is not accessible and that I might not have permission to use this resource.I get the same reponse when I try to connect through my laptop to the desktop. Any suggestions please?
