Can somebody help me?
My ibm thinkpad installed Windows XP Service Pack 2
In my office, I can get ip address from DHCP Server, so I can connect internet,but after a while,maybe several hours,maybe half an hour,my gateway losts,I can find this by run IPCONFIG,
but ip address exists.when I run IPCONFIG/RENEW,I can get gateway again.
Does any one know this?

Are you able to try it with a static IP address and gateway settings instead of using the DHCP server?

I have tried to set static ip, but gateway also lost sometimes.
My thinkpad have wireless device and bluetooth device.
I also install vmware workstation, so in my network, I hava five lan connection:
1.VMware Virtual Ethernet Adapter for VMnet8
2.Bluetooth LAN Access Server driver
3.VMware Virtual Ethernet Adapter for VMnet1
4.Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection
5.Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet

Did you ever get this fixed? I also have a thinkpad with the same problem. It happened once before and I had IBM replace the nic card and the problem stopped for a while. Now the problem is back. I'm about to call IBM.
