ok i have a bt broadband account with a 105 modem

work perfect on laptop

now i wanted to go wireless

bought a bt voyager 2100 wireless router / modem


laptop see's the router/modem no problems

when i click setup in the router setting to setup for internet

asks me to enter username and password

i do this and it says connecting
then it clicks a few times (about 3)
and goes back to the same page to enter username and password
wont connect.
i thought ah well i got a dogey wireless router modem took it back to pc world they swapped it for another 1 got home tried again and same thing happens.

running windows xp service pack 2 installed

anybody have any idea's on what the problem might be ?

Have you installed all of the drivers?

phoned BT up and they dont tell you in paper work that when u buy a 2100

your username changes

cost me 50p a min to find this out
