I have a pop up window on logging on which says that the firewall is not activated

Is this XP? or another firewall?

If XP check Control Panel: Security Center & or Windows Firewall & enable.

If this is another firewall & or a malicious pop up can you describe the pop up exactly & or do a screen shot?
