    wireless no longer working

My laptop has always been temperamental with the wireless and usually I can get it to work by re-entering all the security codes. This time however that hasn't worked. Somehow the tcp/ip for that connection has become disabled. How can I re-enable it?

    Thank you.

If you go into Network Connections in Control Panel, you should be able to right-click on the connection and choose 'Enable' from the menu if it is the connection itself that is disabled. If it's not, then go into the properties of the connection and the wireless network adapter that it is using. Check that the IP address that it is using is a valid one .... or otherwise ensure that it is set to get an IP address and DNS server settings automatically if your router / network supports DHCP.
