Setting up security on home wireless network

I have a linksysWRT54G router working with my Dell 4600 desktop using WinXL. I have one Toshiba notebook with Win XL and built in wireless. Everything is working fine. However, i have discovered that I have an unsecured network. I have instructions from Linksys on how to set up security on my desktop, but how do I change my notebooks so it will continue to work on my home wireless network?

    Thanks.

    Hi Barbara,
First set up your security in your router (WEP key).
Now when your laptop tries to connect to the wireless, it will ask you for the key - so just enter the security key and it should remember it after that.
