Wireless networking problems
Hi, I have a Belkin networking system with a Windows SE desktop connected to the router, a laptop with a wireless card running Windows 2000 Pro and a desktop with a wireless card running Windows XP Pro. The main desktop is fine. The other two were connecting to the internet fine until I started trying to link the folders and printer up for all three. Now the two peripheral ones won't connect to the net at all, even though the wireless signal is there. Have tried Belkin but their solutions so far haven't worked (when I can get through). Have also tried system restore on the XP desktop but that didn't work either. I think it's something to do with the configuration but not sure where to start. Any info gratefully received. Sally

Update from post. Problem solved by a very helpful Belkin person. He advised me to remove the firewall on the laptop, and that enabled both peripheral computers to connect to the net. Why the problem should happen when the firewall's been there for ages I don't know but at least it's all working now !
