hi, straight forward question.........is windows firewall secure enough on its own without having to use an internet secruity program?????

depends on what you want to do ? download a free one like sygate smb.sygate.com/download/download.php?pid=spf a lot of people use it and find it fine and FREE

The ICF (windows firewall is not that good) thats why I suggested Sygate but leave the ICF while your downloading and once sygates running didable the windows one

ok so is Sygate one of the more secure firewalls as someone said to me checkout blackice ,i wanna be as best protected as possible,i see theres so many to chose from??

I put that sygate on and couldnt connect to my isp??????..............so have removed that,need some help here plz

when you installed sygate did you set it to normal or block all ? there's a help file in sygate...
it's a good firewall but when first installed like all firewalls it need to be set up
