I have 2 computers networked. I recently updated zone alarm to a newer version, since then I cannot use the internet in the client machine.

Do you know what services are needed for network internet connection?


ps: If a disable ZA momentarily then the client can access to the internet

zone alarm has issues with networking.

What might need to be done is adding your local IP range to the trusted networking zone. Heard of a lot of problems after upgrading ZA every time.

As i personally dont use it i cant help out with a description of how to add the zone, but i am sure some knowledgeable guy here will give u a hand

My local network is already in the trusted zone and has the ip range. Any more ideas? Do you think if I downgrade it'll fix the problem? It was all fine before!

Make sure all the programs you use on the local intranet are setup to allow, otherwise ZA will stop them.
