    linksys wireless b router with g adapter

    For security when I turn of broadcast of ssid my new wireless g adapter disconnects from my wireless b router. It only works with ssid broadcast enabled. And even then it will not connect automatically. I must site survey and connect. Thanks for any help

    I solved my problem. Compaq 1100 series computers do not seem to like linksys wireless adapters. They kept freezing the computer. I tried a d link wireless usb and this solved all problems
