The other day I installed a router it works fine 2 machines are running well together except I cant share files between machines

I've pinged each of them from the other machine and I get no loss of data
Just they wont talk to each other.


also the router has a print server but cant get it to print stuff. It goes to the printer to be printed just nothing comes out of the printer

1 machine runs XP the other runs ME

Are the pc's set up in the same work group? Have you enabled printer and file sharing?

yes I have Jaynee..thanks ... I'll sort it out when I feel a bit better if not Jaynee, I know your number or you can come down here and sort it out for me

You may have to install IPX/SPX and NetBeui as well. I am sure Jaynee can handle it.
