Check your bios for boot from Lan. Usually on the MB Bios its under the Boot configuration. For More specific information, we need the MB and OS you are using.
-
Im running XP and i dont know what MB im running. How would i go about getting into the bios?
-
Depends on the Bios and MB Maker. Most AMI you hit the DEL Key while booting, on Phoenix its F2 or F10 and Award its either DEL or F10.
When you boot, it will flash what type of bios you have or the MB Maker. You can also run the online Hardware scan that D-A-L has if you are sitting at your computer now.

Hi guys, pls help me!!! Im tryin 2 connect my 2 pc's up so they can both b used 4 on-line gaming. Was told 2 buy another 2 ethernet cards & a link up cable, done that. All fitted & linked up,done the wizard on them both, says im connected on the 2nd pc but cant on the net with it?? Had a m8 come round (who has linked his 2 pc's up) & even he couldnt sort it?? He seems 2 think that my 2 ethernet cards in pc1 r conflicting?? All 3 cards are of the same type, i have the proper cables & both pc's are running XP. Can i get an ethernet card with 2 ports on it or am i going totaly wrong somwhere else??? Pls help as this has been driving me crazy for wot seems like an eternity, lol. Thanx
