D-Link Continual Connection drops
Well, it seems that D-Link wireless routers arnt worth the sale... but anyways. I bought a D-Link DI-514 "B" wireless router, and i have set the router up with ease. The router came with no software, only a manual that is printed in 10 languages. Well, nest i made sure my laptop connected with the internet, it did. But i powered down the laptop, and i am working on my home computer, and my internet connection keeps dropping. (eg. WinMX keeps reconnecting, IE recieves connection not found...etc.)
One of my setups: Celeron 800, 512MB, 20GB, XP SP2, D-Link DI-514,
Rogers Highspeed Motorola Cable Modem.
I have everything plugged in perfectly, maybe theres some configuration problem?... Also, when i connect it says,
Connection Status
Address Type: Assigned by DHCP
IP Address: 192.168.0.103
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
I have set the connection as 64bit WEP for my laptop.
The option: Dynamic IP Address, i have selected to connect to my ISP.
Any thing else you need to know, or anything you can suggest will help.
Thank you! -Puter-

Recently I have bought D-link DWA-140 and it's been working well until today. The adapter started to reconnect every 10 seconds. After reboot and virus check I found nothing.
I opened Process Explorer (sophisticated Task Manager) and found two instances of WZCSLDR2.exe, killed one of them and erased one extra record from HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run .
So far, so good.
