Happy X-mas!

When I abort incoming mail on either The Bat or Thunderbird I get a huge amount of incoming traffic - yestreday 50Mb in 2 hours. I am on a dial up and pay per Mb so keep good track of traffic. After realising how it happened I tested aborting mail on both mail clients and get the same issues - though not every time.

There is another annoying issue - sometimes I get disconnected and after reconnecting none of the links work - they all time out - nor can I open a fresh page. It has just happened now - I had to copy and paste this post after closing all web pages and restarting firefox..

Any ideas?

can you run spybot and adaware then posta fresh hijack this log ion the spyware and virus forum thanks
